P.4 Win.XP Home.  Okay it's not really about QB. My kbrd has the Euro symbol alongside the 5 (on the same key). How can I use this? No combination of Ctrl Alt Shift etc seems to work.

Doesn't sound like a standard kb for desktop/tower...sounds like a laptop.  If it is the latter, there is usally a SPECIAL key to access 2nd level keyboard functions(symbols--in your case).

See if there's a key with something like 'FN' in a different color (or a color that matches the EruoSym.)

If the kb is the former, then check with your kb's mfg for drivers that may not have been shipped with your system.

Other than that, I'm at a loss as to how you may be able to access it.

Thanks MiggyD...All keys are same color...ID label identifies kbrd as a PS/2 and it came with new hardware last year...Kbrd has flying windows keys which do much same job as clicking Start...also lotsa "other" oval buttons at top of kbrd one of which puts system into standby and another which generates mayhem...Guess gotta go back to supplier for info... tks agen

Is it a standard? or laptop?

1) see if the "hardware" has a disk for this keyboard, you may need to load the drivers for it.

2) you may have to change your board's setting from USA/English (standard) to another language (EX: Start > settings > Control panel > keyboard > language).  This may do the trick but I'm not 100% sure.

3) If you have MS Word (and installed "Character Map") you might also be able to at least print it (with Word) on paper.  Until someone else can offer a more positive solution.

Anyone else care to offer a suggestion?
