The Qbasic compilers, for example this one,
are they 'warez' or legal?

In other words, are these programs to be paid for,
and are you offering them to the world,
or are they legally freeware/shareware?

If you can d/l them, I believe it's free.  "Mic$" is no longer supporting anything to do with DOS.

they USED to be paid for - they were still under copywrite, but since the copywrites expired for qbasic and were never replenished, all to do with qbasic is now public domain, and you can give it to as many people as you want and no one can complain!

That's spelled copyRIGHT, not copyWRITE.
