Hi, everyone. I'm new to these forums but have programmed in QB87 for a while (since 93?) but have always wanted to load up BMP's or similar (GIF's, JPG's,...) as screen intros or whatever, maybe design a user interface or two but don't know anything about reading the headers or the rest of the file for that. Anybody know any handlers or routines for these files? ::)Actually, detailed instructions on the file structure would be good since I prefer to write my own ;)

Also I just downloaded QB7.1 so I must check it out. Tried to find QB45 but can't yet. :o

Thanx!

Well, i know of a good one, for gifs, but i dont remember where i got it, one file, email me at TEN2SK8@AOL.COM and ill send it to ya, also, if ya do a search, you can find more in about 5 min.

ps. the one i can send ya that works best, only works in mode 13, but i think it explains how-to, so good luck if ya search.

pps. you can find QB4.5 on this site, QBASIC-CAFE.COM/ENGLISH/
