yeah I did try that one but still couldn't work, it couldn't even run programme..
when I'm going to start programme, it said "invalid startup directory, please check your prif file".. How should I do?

It probably says check pif file. Pif files are windows "links" to a dos program.
Right click the desktop icon - go to properties and check the command line, etc. If you are using Qbasic it should say Qbasic.exe in the path.
Check to be sure it's really there. The work directory should be whatever the path to the qbasic.exe is. then check the memory settings. Put all on auto at least at first.

Strange. I've never seen one in another language (im sure they exist) and
i started using QuickBasic 4.5 around 1989.

No problem.
Since I helped you find it, I think I can safely mention FreeBASIC without reprimand. Have you heard of it yet? It's very similar to QuickBasic, much faster(32 bit), highly versatile(OpenGL, SDL, ODE, etc...) and free free free!
Here's a link to the official forum.

I
highly reccomend it.
