Qbasic crashes

Ive been running qbasic on my old 486 a lot and a lot of times i test my program it crashes out of nowhere or the program changes. Does that normally happen, Im not sure which version i have though.

i have no idea why that would happen, especially since most versions of QB were mainly for a 486. I can't be much help, except to say download a version from here so that you know what version you have. I reccomend version 4.5 myself.

O yea and one more thing is that the windows on that computer runs terribly so i use a bott disk for dos programs.

Well it turns out its the qbasic im using wether its the version im using or the specific exe im using it just crashes a lot

ok good. i would download one from here if you didnt already. Just to be sure, cause i use QB 4.5 from here often on my 486. it works just fine for me  ;D
