Hi there people, I'm Rick
I published a program in PC-Magazine Vol. 12#7 (MS-DOS 6.0 review cover) in '93 using QB 4.5.
I was cleaning out some boxes the other day and ran across my PDS 7.1 books/disk AND QB 4.5 books/disk. The funny thing is I've been in one part of the country while my disk and books were stuck in Alaska since '93.
I haven't done much programming since that time but would love to be able to use a PDS program to control XP to some extent.
I'm willing to bet that some creative souls have created some routines to call XP DLL code using PDS by now! Well, hoping really!
So, I looking to extend my programming knowledge and find some information about PDS/QBx and Windows, since the program I wrote was in a MS-Dos based world things have soooo changed!
Anyone have a good source of information or libraries for doing what I wish.
Sorry for seeming new but believe me I am no stranger to computers or programming!
Blast from the past!

All I can suggest is that you try Freebasic. It compiles qb files to 32 bit
