As far as I have used QuickBASIC 4.5 on Windows XP Home Edition, most things work O.K., but not the graphics. As soon as I enter SCREEN whatever, and run the program, I get a full, black screen for a second or two, then the first screenful just after the SCREEN statement for a few seconds, then the program screen minimizes! :( I can get it running again, only to repeat the above. Now, someone said that QB runs fine in XP Pro, but can't vouch for that.

Downloaded my instald7 to my new winXP machine and it works fine
(screen 12 install demo). I don't get sound but that's ok.

Now that's the compiled version not the source code. The source might
have a problem running it from the editor. havent tested that.

Say, Guest, are you using Windows XP Home Edition, or Windows XP Professional Edition?
