QBTree Data Engine

Post by JB » Fri Sep 12, 2003 12:03 am

Hello all. I've been tasked with deciphering a collection of QB programs written some 15 years ago...which have grown vital to my organization...but the only person completely familiar with the project is long since retired.
Reading the QB code is no problem. The problem for me is that the developer used commercially purchased functionality (QBTree 5.6, by Cornel Huth) to simulate a database environment.
I have the QBTree modules, but there is no documentation anywhere that explains what they do. I've started looking through the code, but I'm hoping someone out there will be able to point me to some kind of tutorial or documentation for QBTree.
Thanks in advance.

Yeah, and that really sucks! This is one of the first places that I found for QB! Anyway, I didn't even know such a thing exsisted!!! Can I please lok at the code?
Come check out FreeBASIC. The syntax is based on QuickBasic, but it expands to use pointers, operator overloading, etc... The list goes on and on!

QBTree by Cornel Huth

I've never heard of QBTree by Cornel Huth but I have heard of Bullet database engine by Cornel Huth. I have used it in the past for my company and it was also distributed as a shareware. The shareware includes all of the libraries including the including an extensive programmer's reference guide of all of its functions.

If you want email me and I can send you the complete file. Look it over and see if the functions in the reference guide is similar to the one used in your source code.

I am new to this site so I don't know if this response will get posted.

Disregard previous post.

After searching my archive I have found the files for QBTree including the documentations. Let me know where you want them sent.
