When useing "open file$ for binary as #1", i use: "get #1, ,BIN
When i covert this to a sting and save it to another file (OK).
The problem happens when i convert the string to a number that messes me up. There is something to do with big numbers that QB contracts it. When i "VAL" it, it doesnf't come out the way it was. E-mail me and i can send the BAS file.
