I have a version of qbasic. I got it in the oldmsdos folder on a Windows 98 CD. I can't determine what version it is, but it seems to be an interpreter, not a compiler.
I have heard some say that there is a difference between qbasic and quickbasic. What is the difference? How do I get a copy of quickbasic?
Thanks.
What's the differencs

I believe that is pretty much the only difference, Quickbasic can compile. You can find it on this site in the Compilers section.
Re: What's the differencs
Well there are a few differences.
The big one being the lack of a compiler, but there are others such as missing features, speed de-optimizations and memory limits.
QBasic is a simplified, toned down and retarded version of QuickBasic
But for best results, get QuickBasic 7.1
