*BAD FILE MODE* Error when loading file

I have a file that when loaded causes the "Bad File Mode" error message to be displayed. This program was originally saved with the "fast load and save" format using QuickBASIC v4.5. Any suggestions on how to recover the source code? Please reply to my email address.

Yano, im not sure, ive had that happen with simple high-score files that my programs save, but not with qbasic, i can only suggest re-downloading qbasic, or else, re-write the file, sry, to prevent problems, i always save 2 files, one in tesxt and one in basic

Are you trying to reload into qb4.5 or some other version?

The fast save format varies between versions. I know it's not compatible between 4.5 and 7.1
