ok say i want to post a file how come i have to give a
www adress? i have the same question about having your own pic in your profile

Don't even bother...I tried to add a file about 6 to 8 months ago and it still isn't up. ???

The reason you have to have a www for your pic is because the browser needs that address to display it for everyone who reads your posts. ;)
Come check out [url=http://www.freebasic.net/forum/index.php]FreeBASIC[/url]. The syntax is based on QuickBasic, but it expands to use pointers, operator overloading, etc... The list goes on and on!
