QB 7.1 and 4.5 32 bit converter?

Post by SecretProgrammer » Mon Jun 14, 2004 1:47 pm

Hey, I'm new here :D Have 2 questions.

About a few months ago, I was doing a search on quickbasic, and found the name of a program which makes quickbasic programs, proffesion looking 32 bit .exe files. Unfortunately, the program link was on 2 sites, but not on their server. Does any1 know where I can get it from, or even what it's called?

And, what is quickbasic 7.1? I thought 4.5 was the latest, did they make this recently? Wat r the new features?

I don't know about the 32bit thing you are talking about but, no version 7.1 is not new, I would guess its from about 1990 approx.

It's also referred to as PDS professional Development System.

It's basically 4.5 with a few enhancements, one of which is a currency floating point type numeric (4 decimal places) which makes using money values a lot easier to deal with.

Just set up a folder (direcory) called qb71,
Unzip the file there with the option to keep folder
structure intact. QB should have some subdirectories
for a few things.
